The Red E Bag: Nausea Relief Products

What was originally designed to be a bag that could be used for morning sickness is now being used by many people for their unfortunate bouts of nausea when they're on the go.
The Red E Bag was created by Jodi Carr, president of the company that produces Red E Bag and a mom. When Jodi was pregnant in 2000, she suffered from morning sickness as do many moms-to-be. After dealing with the inconvenience for a few months, Carr decided there needed to be some kind of product available that women could carry with them in case they were hit with a case of the sickness. Two years later, after searching the market for a bag that was not only discreet but could also carry other necessities - such as tissues and mints - and not finding anything, Carr and her husband released the Red E Bag.

There are air sickness bags on the market like the ones you find on airplanes, however the Red E Bag differs greatly in its design and functionality. The bag is very sturdy and made from a very heavy material. The top of the bag folds over and it looks a lot like a carry along lunch bag. Since most people wouldn't want to carry a big bulky sickness bag around, the bag collapses and folds together, snapping in place to reveal a very small, very discreet bag that could even fit into a coat pocket. The Red E Bag comes with heavy duty liners that fit snuggly into the bag and can be easily disposed of. They can hold over ½ gallon of fluid. I was impressed with the durability of the bags. It's likely impossible you would encounter any incident where the bag would have a tear or hole in it, creating an unfortunate mess. A small zipper pocket is on the back of the bag and can be used for anything that might make a person feel better after getting sick. The pocket is a perfect size for mints, tissues or small wipes.

While the bag was created with morning sickness sufferers in mind, it's been used by many other people with many other conditions that result in nausea. Things like reactions to medical treatments, cancer or other diseases, motion sickness, air sickness and migraine headaches can all create stress for a person who desires an active lifestyle but are worried about an embarrassing situation, or not knowing what to do if nausea strikes. The Red E Bag has a great purpose but it can also create great peace of mind.

This past March, Jodi Carr, President of As We Grow LLC, received a $2,000 grant from the Edison Inventors Association for her Red E Bag. She received the award based on her practical and realistic product and many people have found comfort in this bag including Carr's late father who suffered from cancer. As We Grow LLC shows incredible support to the American Cancer Society through their note card fundraiser. Future plans for the company include marketing the bag more to cancer patients and possibly expanding the product line.

The Red E Bag and some of it's amazing testimonials are available on the company's website: www.redebag.com. The bag is available in black and pink a retails for $15.95. Additional liners can be purchased at the price of $8.50 for 10. The Bob Coval notecards can also be purchased on the website with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.
