We personally use the glass which heats very evenly, cleans easily and the formula stays warm for an extended period of time if you take it on the go. The plastic bottles are nice to have for diaper bag use and when your baby is old enough to hold (And throw) the bottle themselves. The glass bottles are very durable and high quality. I've bumped them many times and they've never chipped or cracked.
